Greek Style

The Greek had no love for bathing, reason was that they interpretated this as a sign of weakness and they considered that this would remove the strong odors of the athletes.

The wealthy greeks had for their luxurious banquets a special bath sessions for their guests; they had a special room full of marble where slaves would bath each guest with oil, water, roses and some aromatics. The most aristocratics would even have wet dove which they free in the room so that the guests would be risen with the aromatics from the wet doves.
